A New Me
On Wednesday 14th November, I had an accident. I was driving at 40 mph along a B-road in the countryside, when a stag (a male deer) ran across the road. I hit it. It smashed the front of my 7-seater, and its antlers spiked through my window. The event was very frightening. However, it woke me up.
For the past few weeks I have been depressed. University is crap. The course is unorganised, I have ridiculous clashes whenever there is anything on, and it’s just a mess. There is little support for what I want to do, and I obviously feel down. I mean, I have nothing timetabled for the next two weeks!
But regardless, my “near death experience” has opened my eyes – I don’t need to waste my time with incompetence. I should set my own goals, follow them and see what happens. And this blog will be there for me to chronicle my progress as I do it. I don’t care if no-one reads this, it’s my personal diary, for a new me.
For legal reasons, I will not be disclosing personal information, such as the real names, but the stories I tell are real and should be treated as such.
